Rules, everyone hates them, but life would be a bigger hell than usual without them, so here are the rules on the Wrath of God forum.
1. God-modding: Ironic right? Regardless, taking your worldly woes out on fellow players, in the form of all powerful, or unavoidable moves is a big no-no on WoG.
2. Meta-Gaming: Unless your character has a (limited) mind reading ability, you can't go pretending like you know what your opponent is going to do next. This also means no mallet spacing weapons you don't have. (you can however mallet space weapons you do have if specified in your character profile.)
3. Staff can do that: The forum staff are your overlords, they can do what they just did to you. If you feel a moderator is being unfair, PM an admin, and we'll look closely at both sides, so don't go ranting and raving around the forum when you're pissed at a mod.
4. Profiles: Please, keep your comments to yourself, or PM them if you absolutely need to make them known. No one other than Mods and Admins are allowed to post in the character profiles of other members. Ignoring this rule could get your account suspended.
5. Character Killing: Simply put, don't. Unless you have permission to attempt murder from the owner of the character you desire dead, you are not allowed to end the lives of Player Characters. NPCs are fine, no one cares about them, they don't do much anyway. This includes Admin controlled NPC's that are in the registration board.
6. Accounts/Characters: Each account has one character, and one character only. Each person can have up to 4 accounts, which means 4 separate characters. We can check the IP addresses of all the accounts, so we'll know if you go over the limit.
1 character may be High ranked, and up to 2 can be Middle Rank.
-Above the Rank of Colonel is High Rank. State Alchemist is High Rank regardless of actual Rank. The Creator, and The Seven are High Rank. Non-State Alchemists who are faction leaders are High Rank.
-Colonel to Major are Middle Rank. Lower Homunculus are Middle Rank. Alchemists are Middle Rank. Rebel/Community Leaders are Middle Rank.
-Captains and Lieutenants are Low Rank. Enlisted men are Low Rank. Common People/Rebels are Low Rank.
7. Stick to the Templates: When you are creating a character, please stick to the format of the provided templates. Having unnecessary changes such as changed font, font color, or text alignment, makes it slightly annoying to read.
8. Have fun, and respect your fellows: We want this role play to be fun and exciting for all the members, so we ask that you keep negative comments to yourself. If you have issues with another member, keep it to PMs or even better, keep it off the this site.
