Character Info
Name: Adrik Steinmetz
Age: 47
Gender: Male
Alias: The Open Palm Alchemist
Description:
Faction: Former Military
Rank/Occupation: Former State Alchemist/Alchemy Teacher & Combat Instructor
Personality: Adrik is a calm and cool headed man. Like most alchemists he is very intelligent and well skilled in his arts. Unlike most alchemists he tries to give himself a wider rang of alchemy. Inside of sticking himself to a single type or branch of Alchemy he seeks to learn all types to a point. Some have proved to be harder then others, but he believes that with time he can learn most if not all.
Adrik's social attitude is simply odd. He doesn't give off the same feeling most military or former military often give off. He is all around up-beat, and generally fun to be around. He loves cooking, and tends to make his friends test his crazy home made dishes. His life away from his alchemy research is one filled with fun, entertainment, and lots of good food. His love life however is slow, and whenever he manages to get a date he somehow misses it leading to continue his search for love.
Adrik's combat persona differs from his natural self. On the field of battle, any field of battle, he tends to become serious and focused, He speaks little and tries to never break eye contact with his opponent. To some he seems to become a whole different person when faced in combat. Even if it is training he will become like this. He shows little emotion, and has even tired his best to hide signs on pain.
To explain Adrik in a few words. He is a good friend, and a great soldier. He will never betray a friend, break an oath, or even hurt the innocence.
Family & Friends: The Steinmetz Family. His Students.
History: From as far back as he can remember. Adrik had a lust for the art of alchemy. His time as a kid was always spent reading books and testing his skills. To him this was more then just a science, it was an art. From a young age Adrik proved to be very skilled in alchemy despite his family having little to no background in it. His twin sister could hardly understand his love for it. She thought of alchemy as nothing more then a military weapon.
Adrik thought more of it. At the age of 15 he could do advanced transmutations. As time flew by, and the years past. Adrik thought his home, and sister to sign up to become a State Alchemist at the age of 25. He failed in his first attempt. His transmutations were random and caused him trouble. He was unprepared and for that he paid the price. He took his failure and moved on to train himself in different forms of alchemy.
Upon his 30th birthday he took the test again. This time showing his skill in on field weapon creation. He used tattoos on the palm of his hands to create weapons and other tools. When the tests put him against an opponent. He surprised people by using main hand-to-hand combat styles. Only using his alchemy when he had no other choice. This impressed the testers, and got him his state title.
Adrik Steinmetz, The Open Palm Alchemist. The name came from his hand-to-hand combat style no doubt. He hardly ever used a closed fist and instead stuck to an open palm chop or slap. The name fit in someways, but confused people in others. Regardless he was a State Alchemist. Adrik was praised by almost every member of his family. The only one who didn't was his sister. She thought of him an nothing more then a weapon that could be used for war.
As time went by. Adrik did his duties, followed his orders, and even managed to go up in rank. As a Lt. Colonel Adrik did much work for the military that sometime led to battle, and death. His name became known for his odd style of handling things. He also became well known for his wide rang of alchemy. Using different kinds, but never having the time to master them. Finally at the age of 40 Adrik resigned his commission. He left the military after completing all he needed to do so. From that day forward he moved on to live in hills of Rush Valley. Here he trains those he wish to seek him out and learn the basic steps to alchemy and combat.
To this day Adrik still sometimes gos by his old State Alchemist title. It proves useful when he must speak with military personal or police. At current, he is looking for new students.

Craft Skill: 100
Combat Skill: 30
Experience:
Alchemy
Branch/Specialty: There are no specifics to Adrik's Alchemy. This is to allow himself to be flexible to his environment.
Transmutations:
Tattooed to the palm of his hands. Adrik has two transmutation circles. One on each palm. The one on his left is a simple circle made to change the form of the one on his right to allow for different transmutations based on need. Should he need a sword a simple clap, the circle changes, and he is now able to transmute a sword from whatever materials are within reach.
Liquid Alchemy - With this form of alchemy Adrik is capable of many things. This shares a part in his ice alchemy, but is a much simpler form. This is a form used main to purify water, or other forms of drink should the need come.
Attack Transmutations:
Ice Alchemy - Using a basic, yet advanced form of water alchemy Adrik can freeze water in the air to create small or thin weapons from ice. This normal ranges from a short sword or a thin javelin. This is his most used combat alchemy.
Earth/Metal Alchemy - A simple form of alchemy that can be used to manipulate the environment into many uses. Shields, weapons, doors, etc etc. All possible with this simple art.
Super Transmutations:
Using his earth alchemy Adrik draws a large transmutation circle on the ground in a wide enough empty area. Once the circle is complete, he will take a standing position with his left palm over the circle while his right is placed behind his back. Once he activates the transmutation a massive dragon head will explode from the ground trapped the opponent(s) in it's mouth and then return underground.
In a nutshell. A large dragon head made from the earth appears under the opponent. The opponent is eaten, and taken underground. It is suggested that the opponent be binded or distracted before attempting.
